Bumble's Adventures

Wednesday 22 February

Bumble was amazed by the speed in which Aaron answered his maths questions.

Tuesday 21 February

Bumble enjoyed his visit to Krish's house.  He even got to join in with his Grandad's birthday celebrations!

Monday 20 February

Today, Bumble packed his journal and set off home with Vanika.   He had a busy time at her house, but was glad to come back to LH6 to see the Learners.    Bumble can't wait for his next adventure.

Friday 17 February

Bumble's first adventure is to go home with Maanvi.   He is extremely excited and we can't wait to read his journal entry on his return on Monday.

Here is Maanvi's journal entry.   Bumble had a super time with Maanvi was happy to pose for a portrait.

How Bumble Came to Bee

At the beginning of 2017, we decided that it would be a fantastic idea to have an LH6 mascot.  Our Learning Coaches decided that a bee would be the perfect mascot as we are going to think about...

#Beeing fabulous!     #Beeing wonderful!     #Beeing fantastic!

and most of all...

#Beeing #Oresome!

Miss Love told us that we could spend up to $20 and then showed us some bee soft toys on eBay that we could vote for.   There were some really cute ones, but there was one in particular that most of us liked so Mrs Croll placed an order for it.

In the meantime, we had to decide on a name for our mascot.   Apart from a few random ideas, most of the names were associated with the bee.   It did, however, become very clear that 'Bumble' was the top favourite.   Bumble was being sent from England, so it took a long 10-12 days for it to arrive.  We were sooooo excited when Mrs Croll brought the package to school as we couldn't wait to meet Bumble.    He even has his own journal to take with him when he goes home with a Learner.   We will use this blog to record his own learning journey.
